Collaborative Archive: The 5 blocks are emptying. On the eve of the destruction of this architectural heritage, before the exodus of its inhabitants and the definitive transformation of its structure, it is important to gather the voices of those who were born, grew up, and aged in these towers. How do we remember the 5 blocks? In the belly of these towers, people have lived. What have these walls seen and heard over all these years?
Presented at the Halles Saint-Géry on 6 January 2024, in the context of the Art Nouveau year, the exhibition “ART NOUVEAU, art for all ?” invites all audiences to reappropriate the objects and subjects of the Brussels Art Nouveau house museums. Through a participatory and multidisciplinary experience, the project establishes a dialogue between contemporary social issues and opens up new narrative perspectives.
Analysis of short Latin American films, including detailed descriptions, thematic exploration, and contextual insights for the collection.

The multiform project "Chile Chico and the Versailles Quarter" is the result of a groundbreaking collaborative archiving effort, bringing together images from private and public sources, shown for the first time. Supported by local associations and residents, this memory-making journey begins with the story of a diaspora settling in a new country, and continues through the living narratives and family portraits of those who still shape the identity of the neighborhood today.
